Issues

Economy

A strong economy starts with a balanced budget. I have strengthened our local economy by supporting over $20 million in tax credits, and by working to maintain Maryland’s AAA bond rating. Relying on these successes, I will continue to support economic development, local businesses, and job creation.

Transportation

In order for our workforce to succeed, we must provide robust and updated transportation infrastructure. I will use my experience as the Vice Chair of the Capital Budget Subcommittee to secure transportation funding for roads and WMATA projects.

Health Care

As a healthcare professional, I understand that health is fundamental to a flourishing community. I will continue my work to build a new regional medical center, and increase access to high-quality health care for all Marylanders.

Education

All of our children deserve the opportunity to receive high-quality education in modern schools. I will continue my work to ensure the policies and resources are in place to support education from Pre-K to College. Additionally, I will ensure that our children have access to an engaging arts education and vocational training.
